Why what difference does my avatar make ? I should be able to post with my Overwatch forums avatar or my D3 avatar etc. on these forums and it should matter exactly as much as to what WoW character I post on (which will always be my highest level one on retail)

Ah gotcha, so it would seem that the solution is to limit all of the level 20 free accounts to only posting on support forms, or a New Player Forum. And requiring at least an active sub to posting on every other forum regardless of what character they are posting from.
I can post if Iām subbed. Who says this is my Classic account?

As I explained you donāt sub for retail, you donāt sub for Classic, you sub for WoW.
On the blizzard app they are one sub (WoW) which allows access to two games.

This doesnāt hold up, because classic wasnāt a blizzard product until just now. So if you were playing vanilla it was on a private server, so you shouldnāt want to post here anyway right? The forum is a service provided with a subscription and it keeps people who donāt even play the game from just throwing in nonsense.
Aside from that there are plenty of classic players who go over to retail general to stir the pot, its hardly a one sided issue.

As has been mentioned, youāre not gonna suddenly pay $7.50 for your sub. Which service you choose to use is up to you, but both are included in 1 sub.

They are different games, blizzard themselves have said classic is āfreeā to those who have an active sub for Refail.

Id glady pay $20 a month exclusively for classic. Refail is an abomination and offensive for many, being forced to sub to it to access a game we had destroyed by it just obscene.

Seriously though. The worst offenders to me are the people who remind me of trying to explain technology to an old person. They donāt know whats going on so they resort to just telling you how much better it was in the old days and whatever youāre talking about will never be as important as their memories. Many classic only people arenāt like that, but there are enough.

How does this affect you at all? You donāt have to do anything with it, you donāt have to see it on the launcher, you donāt have to install it.
