You should remain abandoned
Which is odd since we now know he’s basically a robot and I think shoehorning in that he created the Nathrezim is just… I mean… ffs
Posting in a Sentenza thread
Stahp from… being same as the rest of all those storylines?
Huh? I love that. The Nathrezim were always weirdos to the Legion - they were the catalyst of Sargeras’s crusade and they’ve always dabbled in dark powers that were outside the scope of what the Legion normally had access to. It makes sense we find out that they weren’t native to this plane and their necromantic powers come from, no surprise, the realm of death.
The Dreadlords are the perfect evergreen World of Warcraft villain, they’re the most natural foil to us in many respects, so I love that they’ve kept their master Sire D in play.

But they already have a long history and if their powers come from “death” and we have already defeated the Legion, Sire, AND Zovaal then what does it even matter? This whole debacle makes them seem like LESS of a threat imho. They are supposedly mini-robots designed by a bigger robot designed by A BIGGER ROBOT but they are somehow masters of deception who created the Scourge and … etc
Because they’re still out there? Azeroth is only one scheme away from destruction, the battle between good and evil is a never-ending struggle.
They are our eternal foes. They’re basically all that is bad. You don’t just defeat some robot and expect that to be that.
This is just my speculation but I get the feeling Sire D could be more that what we were shown (maybe its a larger entity possessing a robot body according to the ruling Cosmic Force in question, I mean look at the new Arbiter and how easily we replace something so grand?!) seeing how in a way his machinations lead to the catalyst that created Sargeras Crusade.
Another point of interest to me at least was:
- How easily he discarded his power (The amulets that created that crown) to the rebellion almost like it already serve its purpose.
- How he kept saying that “HE WAS REVENDRETH”, at first I thoght it ego… but what if that whole death realm IS HIS SIN STONE?!
- The whole raid fight felt like a “act or flamboyant performance” to keep us occupy
- What was his crime with the light? It was never fully explored beyond that kidnaped and experimented Naruu (Maybe it was just that or maybe it runs deeper than that?)
- I would literally not be surprise if he poses as a Chaos Lord or creator of the “Imps or any of the races Warlocks summon” he already created 2 races why not more? Basically the best way to gather info in the multiverse by does greedy Warlocks.
- I think the character has the potential to be the Devil or Betrayer of the WoW multiverse posing as any Lord of any Cosmic force, meaning he could be an agent of the 7 Cosmic force or its avatar.
To sum it up the character has potential… to be a cool and good recurring villian in the background while we fight the BIG BADS and do his dirty work for the coming of the END or HIS GRAND ENTRENCE…whenever that happends.
Ack! Sorry got carried away again… Chromatus and Sire D is probably my favorite antagonist since I became aware of them… Carry on!
Ehem, back to Subject: "YES please add more Covenant abilities to Specs or Hero Specs… I need them for my lock and DK theme… although I would not mind you re-skin the VFX to fit their theme! ![]()
Paladins are gold standard.
Rogues literally got stuck in the sewers of Dalaran and got nothing else.
Don’t know how much worse than that you can get.
For the love of all that is Holy, I do NOT want to return to the Shadowlands.
What a bad take
No I totally get it, I absolutely love Daddy D and all of Revendreth, I wish I could move there IRL. I’m just saying in relation to everything else it doesn’t make sense to me if we conquered the entire realm of Death and all already, actually nothing makes sense to me going forward.
Yeah but the power scope creep is just… hwat?!
Yeah…
Robot + god juice = create a deity of processing the entire being of every single being who dies in the mortal plane.
Fisher price god making device is a bit sus but eh.
Too many people were forced into a covenant they didn’t like due to player power. You’re never going to get a good response bringing that stuff up.
That’s a personal problem, I was vampire all the way.
This might be the hottest take of 2022
Look, I like Shadowlands but Zereth Mortis was handled poorly to wrap up the expansion early I’m not going to deny that.

It definitely had it’s issues but I also played it harder than any other expansion. I loved the concept, execution could have been better.
