It’s time for Holy Paladins to use 2 handed intelligence weapons

Just like how the first paladin, Uther the lightbringer, intended!

Allow us to use Shield of the Righteous without a shield, you already let us do that with the legion artifact weapon.

If you have to give us a trade off then if you use a 2 handed weapon, you lose the armor bonus from using a shield but gain more attack power.

It is time. Let it happen.

Holy power should be a damage gimmick only.

Holy should have access to Templars Verdict with a 2hander and be able to choose between SotR or Denounce if they use a 1hander+shield

I think SotR should be replaced with Dragonflight’s version of Exorcism.
Also, I would love to use a big, 2-handed +int sword.

It would really open up Holy Paladin gameplay options to make Divine Storm the default instead of Shield of the Righteous, and make Shield of the Righteous simply replace Divine Storm for Protection Paladins only.

I don’t see the harm in letting all paladins have access to both DS and SotR so long as DS requires a 2h weaon and SotR requires a shield. Let holy make the choice between more offense or more defense- it wouldn’t hurt ret or prot at all.

Resto and balance druids can use 2h maces, so as long as we make sure the int drops are all maces there would be more than one spec to give them to. Holy can just mog a sword or whatever if they prefer that look.

I would love having two handers as a viable alternative, if for nothing else then to at least be able to seamlessly swap to Ret for questing.

No seamless swapping if you’re using an int weapon, my dude.

Justicar’s Vengeance should be a holy talent
