Until priest gets a proper mobility I will no longer be taking Leap of Faith.
Once I get home from work I will be removing it from all my talent loadouts and completely off my bars.

I rarely take it myself, mainly due to button bloat. I’ve go so much rebound and macro’d that I just don’t have the energy to figure out where to have it on my char.
Getting people killed in LFR is the most satisfying feeling ever.
I can just see Blizzard’s interpretation of this “boycott”: Glances at data, concludes the priest class tree must have so many compelling choices that players aren’t even able to take the iconic LoF, decides against adding anything.
It’s such a dead talent imo. Haven’t used it since like BFA lol
They’ll remove feather because it feels oppressive by not allowing us to pick Leap of Faith
It was a lot cooler when it applied a bit of a shield on the player pulled, for sure. But it has a lot of fun…
Killing teammates aside, I’m shouting “I’M A HERO!!!” in my head when I yoink someone about to die. And sometimes (rarely) they even appreciate it.
I had sooo much fun “accidentally” gripping folks into the cliffsides on Madness of Deathwing LFR
All they need to do… Literally this one change and it becomes a “Must Have”.
Leap of Faith Talent - Optional Choice
Simple - Movement Ability that requires you to be in a group and you have to make a decision to either have it as a “Life Saving” CD or a Movement CD for yourself.
Easy.
I disagree. LoF saved my fc last night, I pulled the shaman fc across the bridge in mid and feared the whole team into a root second fear for the win. Super good situationally, but I agree with the choice node allowing you to pull yourself to friendly player would be good.
Funnily enough I’m using a lot of LoF in these M0s. It’s always the most useful in the first few weeks to correct positioning and grab people who fly off of grim batol not knowing about the knockback, etc.
I sometimes do dungeons with a priest and evoker friend and we choose to ping pong one of our friends around with rescue and four leap of faiths then ask him why is his dmg so low.
It was a lot cooler when it was the one unique piece of utility that priest had, niche as it was. Rescue being Leap of Faith but better in every way instantly makes Leap of Faith not cool.
It’s amazing for pulling our FC to safety.
I’ve also found I can use it to pull afk bots into the water and drown them.
Yeah, hpriest’s trajectory reminds me of White Mage in FF14.
Both started as the iconic, most powerful healers at the launch of their respective games, with the most comprehensive toolkits, and both were watered down by a combination of neglect, pruning, and by taking their unique utility and doling it out to other healers (who brought their own strengths and didn’t share).
It’s fun to stand in fire. It’s even more fun to do so with a friend.
