Gotta hit ‘em in the wallet. Worst re-release of an easy home run imaginable. Old Blizz is definitely dead and gone. Terrible QC, horrendous game and server management…closed both accounts and they kept giving me 3 extra days before my time expired. Finally have one closed…
Ummm what was so horrendous about the game and server management? What was so bad about the qc? Omg we had long waits on WEEK 1 of release😒 geez
man i like almost always agree with you little lol. And while ill admit that i would love to have rdf. the point isn’t really if it harms the game or not. blizz wants to cater to a specific group of players and they told us that. at some point we just gotta move on buy our boa’s and wait till cata to level our alts. i don’t like it but i understand why they are doing it. my only gripe is the constant demanding threads and threatening to unsub threads and all that other crap lol just sounds like entitlement to me. (not saying thats you, just a general claim) lol.
To be fair… even during the beta it was totally radio silence unless it was a promotional push to get people to play that they dripped out stuff in interviews.
Good. Let’s get the next season for vanilla classic going now. Wrath sucks and is basically retail.
How is Wrath like retail?
Crappy honor system. Arena eSports. Different mounts becoming spammy. Non stop unskippable choreographed dialogue that is absolutely awful.
Wrath does not have LFD. Does not have LFR. Less races and classes. The Auction house is completely different. More Arenas. Less Linear in leveling. Talent trees completely different. Gear not locked behind rating.
Wrath is very different to retail.

Oh I get it. I just feel like there has been so much vaguer on both sides. There is very little concrete facts anymore.
At this point I highly doubt we will see it in the game, which is sad. But I really just want to see it for the 1-70 people. I really could give a darn if we get it for 70-80 stuff. I just want it so we can offer new players some lifeline out of the mindless grind in the wasteland of 1-70. The sooner we get these players in Northrend, the sooner they can join the community.
hey i got my cloth shoulders and helm boas with the staff. plate shoulders and chest so far and only need 70-80 on the mage and lock. ive got my mage to 71 lock hasn’t started yet lol. paly still at 62 lol. was there at wrath launch so no movement either lol. part of me says if rdf was in id do it but i think its still so soon that i wouldnt use it anyways since form heroic world touring every day to the daily dungeons im just so tired of them id still not level through them lol. however for 1-60 or 1-70 i feel like id do it for sure.
It’s not exactly retail, but it’s almost retail. It’s retail in ways that matter. The vanilla honor system was hand over fist the best. The fact that it does not have that, and instead has retail’s, is a big deal. The guiding principle of “eSports”, instead of power being won by competence+time spent, is a retail principle and a game killer. Wrath is in that lane.
Just Arena and pvp does not constitute both products being identical or even near identical.

Well I’m coming up this from a PVP perspective because that’s all I care about and play. Wrath might as well be retail.
I am sure a lot of pvpers disagree with both being identical. Assuming you play retail as well.
I have heard a lot of complaints by pvpers that it should be more like retail.

Well they may disagree but they are objectively wrong since the vanilla honor system is totally different than what retail uses and what wrath uses – Which is nearly identical.
Then go play SoM or vanilla classic, if all you want is vanilla pvp you have that for forever now you don’t need to worry about wrath classic at all.
So you want to grind to rank 14 mindlessly doing AV for gear while being punished heaven forbid you take a day off grinding?

I’m not worried about classic wrath. I’m just checking out the forums to see if a new season for vanilla was announced yet and replying to some threads while I’m here.
Yes because achieving high rank is actually an accomplishment of patience and fortitude that feels good. And then you can use that gear to blast away. It’s been the backbone of MMOs since they were born. It’s a working model. If you don’t like, retail is waiting for you.
