By my math I’ll hit exalted with all 4 cartels in 7 weeks, maybe 6 weeks if there’s an emissary event during the 7 weeks and that’s a maybe. We are in mid-June now and S3 will probably drop first week of September. This means I’ll have about 4 weeks maybe 6 weeks to get all 4 cartel TROVE mounts. I don’t know, but that’s too ambitious to get 4 mounts in such a short period of time.
It’s time to boost the rep gain for all 4 cartels in undermine.
They already did with the last patch.
I’m aware that they increased the rep gain last patch by 100%. Based on my math it’s not enough time to get all 4 trove chests mounts before S3 starts. If nothing changes I should get 0 - 2 trove mounts by the time S3 is live and that is a realistic calculation.
Unless they wanna keep players playing in undermine for the duration of S3 then don’t change it, but if there’s a new zone with new mounts/pets mogs to collect in S3 then a rep gain boost is warranted.
you must of started late you should be exalted with all of them and or only need 1 left and should be revered with that 1, even i slacked off so i have 1 left and its revered
I agree! I am currently exalted with 3 and honoured with 1 and i have been doing every single daily/weekly quest and killing rares everyday. Once i hit exalted with all 4 there is still the paragon mounts to get, not to mention the Miscellaneous Mechanica mounts so i wont be leaving Undermine for quite a while

The alt army strategy actually works for the cartels.
You can turn in the free CHETT lists for the week on alts at the respective cartel quarter master for 500 rep per alt.
You can also then create extra lists on those alt by collecting 40 CHETT cards for a new list and do that on multiple alts.
1m gold for the vendor mounts isnt bad ill most likely farm 2 and buy the 3rd but ya the paragon mounts are whats going to suck
you can do that on 1 toon dont need to do alts if you farm c.h.e.t.t. cards unless a hot fixed changed that recently

Undermine has some of the worst rep grinds in the games history at this point. It’s astounding that they expect so much time from us before the next patch at all. I want to be done with it, but I can’t be until I get all the mounts, but getting all the mounts is just a frustrating task, never mind the Misc Machina or whatever it is(this is already beyond abusive that its sickening).
Why did this patch release 6 reps for one zone? Never do that again under any circumstances. Terrible design choice. I should not have to do so much just to get recycled recolors since none of these mounts are unique or special anyway.
It wouldnt be so bad if the cartel reps worked like the azj’kahet reps where rarespawns and world quests give rep with all of them not just the one you picked for the week. The cartels feel like more of slog because of how you get practically no rep with the ones you aren’t actively pursuing. Just like the 4 special summon rare spawns, you can only summon 1 of them based on the cartel you picked and rely on other players to summon the other 3, which might not even happen in a given week depending on who is on when you are. At least the Darkfuse rare can be summoned by everyone.
Also the dev that thought putting a mount in the paragon cache for Darkfuse is a sadist.
im glad i got the darkfuse one after first box, the other paragon ones i havent gone for yet nor tried I heard they are bugged anyway and only give pet charms and pet crap
You really have to lean into the three blue weeklies in Undermine, the dungeon weekly up in Dorn for extra cartel rep., and the 300 rep quests in Undermine. They can all be swept up into a two-hour time frame. The 300 per quests reset mid week, so can be redone. Also I think the two Undermine delves award some cartel rep.
I’m at two exalted cartels and two friendly and hasn’t taken too much time. The Darkfuse is the grindy one.

That only does the main one. It is not like the Severed Threads where you pick which secondary rep you want to put it towards.
All paragon caches from Dragonflight reps onwards give basically around 1k gold, pet charms and bandages and then some other stuff. So basically only DF and TWW reps work like this for paragon chests.
For TWW,
Council of Dorn, Assembly, Hallowfall Arathi and Flames Radiance also give resonance crystals.
Severed Threads (the main one) give Kej instead of resonance crystals
Cartels of Undermine (main one) don’t give resonance crystals for some reason
Also, Council of Dorn, Assembly, Hallowfall Arathi, Severed Threads and Cartels of Undermine give a radiant echo per paragon chest.
Personally I don’t know what the individual cartels give from their paragon chests. I assume it is the same as the main renown rep but with a chance at a mount for each one. I haven’t got any of them to paragon yet as I want to get them all to exalted first. Darkfuse I’m just handing in what research I get each time the DMF is up for that 10% rep bonus.
I actually wonder if the raid rep will have a paragon chest once we hit renown 20 with it.
The cartel rep from delves is randomly given from any of the first five delves you do. It is five delves because there are five main renown reps so far. Flames Radiance and the raid rep do not count.
It will go up to 6 when 11.2 hits, as we will most likely get a new main renown rep to grind.
Yup, each separate Cartel including Darkfuse has their own mount that can drop from the their own respective paragon cache rather than the main Cartels of Undermine rep which works just like the other TWW faction paragon caches do, mostly pet charms and some potions and resonant crystals and a radiant echo and valorstones.
I’ve never gotten resonance crystals from the main Cartels of Undermine rep.

I took about 7 weeks off and started S2 late so there’s that. If nothing happens I’m looking at 0 - 4 trove mounts to grind well into S3 where 0 mounts left is highly unlikely and 4 left to grind is highly likely.
For the Miscellaneous Mechanica mounts/pets, I was able to get 2 mount and I’m working on third mount now and I should be able to get all pets too depending on how much time I spend on the new 3 events coming up.
I play a lot and took a break that is why I’m behind on rep. I can assure you that casual players are behind on rep too. Bottom line rep gain needs adjustment badly to account for this.
I didn’t start late and I’m only exalted with one faction (ignoring Darkfuse) I also played all of Undermine every day of every week since it launched.
It’s mathematically impossible to be exalted with all 4 factions at this point in time UNLESS you did the chett list grind to boost your rep gains outside of what the game gives you by default.
I’m also basing this on only one toon as I assume alts do not get rep from WQs and weeklies etc.
