TAB targeting is not working for me as it has in the past. When I am fighting a cluster of enemies and kill the closest mob, I hit TAB and I target a mob not in the cluster, but furthest away. Anyway have a work around, add on or fix?

I have also noticed recently that tab targeting seems to be picking insane targets

That is not a new issue
Get advanced interface options and look at what you can change in targetting there. There’s several options that change targetting behaviour

My tabbed targeting has been working for the last 2 years until yesterday. Haven’t ever had one issue with it and now that I am it’s making the game near unplayable for me as I’m in a fight and next thing I know I targeted a mob 100 meters away and can’t figure out why I’m not attacking one of the 5 mobs on me.

Scares you? How about when I TAB into a big pack of mobs and I send my pet in to attack and I see it running off to the next group? Talk about heart attack.
I’m a healer, so I get scared too, trust me boo! I see what happens.
I’ve had issues with tab-targeting for the last several expansions. One wonders why if you are facing targets and they are beating on you why tabbing brings a mob from a whole room away?
