Issues with Modifier keys on Logitech MX Master 3 and Logi Options

When I set my extra mouse buttons to modifier keys such as shift and ctrl keys in the Logitech software there is often a noticeable delay before it is registered in game. Out of the game it is instant.

I’ve used third party drivers such as steermouse but and it works seamlessly for the modifier keys but I lose control over the other keys. Does any have a suggestion on how to fix this?

Disregard. I figured a way around it. Had to download and install the Logitech Options software, create a WoW profile, and map the side buttons to the desired key combo. Don’t quite understand why I’ve never had issues with a mouse until now. Oh well.
