Trying to do my covenant’s weekly for Night Fae, having to do Terrors in Tirna Scithe (elite world quest) and seem to be having phasing issues with other people regardless of if its WM on or WM off. Not sure if this is due to sharding or if we can only invite from connected realms. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
Apparently you have to join your group in a sanctuary city (like Oribos) or else you will be unphased the whole time. There is a Wowhead article about it on the front page, but I can’t post links yet. Not 100% sure that is what it is, but probably is.
I was playing with my friend earlier and we both logged off in a random ‘inn’ in Maldraxxus for a bit to go eat. Came back and we would not phase together again until we went to Oribos. Extreme annoying and not looking forward to experiencing it in end game.
Well, that is just dumb, why cant you just phase in normally with other players like we have for say how long? Oh, I don’t know…
Since premade groups were introduced?!
Yeah, I’ve been playing for maybe 13 years? And this is the first time I’ve ever been Intentionally phased out of playing with someone who is on my server, in my guild, and sitting in the room next to me.
Yeah, I made a post about this recently. I’m pretty bummed about it.
I actually came back to say that I just read on wowhead that the reverted it! Rejoice!! (there is a blue post that I can’t link, but it essentially boils down to:
"Now, as before in Battle for Azeroth, joining a group should bring you to the party leader’s perspective. Players who are in and out of War Mode will remain separate, as always.
An exception that remains is the max-level version of the Maw. Leaving the max-level Maw (to Oribos) and returning should bring members of a party together."
