The Warband bank allows for cross realm storage so if you have toons on realms that are not connected, they can share gear, material such as herbs, leather, ore etc. I’ve had no issues with the Warband bank until patch 11.2. This is when items started to disappear. It was usually after logging onto a toon from another realm, not connected. I would check the warband bank and a few more items would be missing. I took screen shots after the first day to confirm that items were missing. No idea what changed but I have a lot of matts in the Warband bank which are costly and don’t want to lose more, so temporarily, or at least I hope it’s temporary, I’ve taken everything out of my warband bank until someone from blizzard confirms they’ve fixed whatever change they made in Patch 11.2 which is when this started happening. Oh, and by the way, the “Clean up Button” does NOT move items from the WarBand bank to your personal bank tabs. It will combine stack of say ore or other matts that are not at their max level. Say you put 200 ore in one day, then you move another 200 ore to the warband bank. If you move the items manually you could have two stacks of 200 ore, then you click the Warband cleanup button, and it would combine them into one stack of 400. This is NOT what is happening. I would log on and check my Warband bank with a toon on a realm where most of my toons are located, Uther. Then log off and on with a toon on another realm and check my warband bank and that’s when I would notice a few more items were missing. Not using the “Clean up Botton” in the process of logging out and back on with another toon. If I logged out and back on with a toon on Uther and then check the warband bank there was nothing missing. Leading to my conclusion that it is a cross-realm issue which did not exist before patch 11.2 when the warband bank worked as expected. Hope this adds some clarity as to why I suspect it’s a Cross-Realm issue. Also, if by some chance it is moving items from my Warband bank to my personal bank, this is NOT how the Warband bank is supposed to work. I did not take screen shots until after the first day I noticed this was happening. Here is an example: **I had 621 ghost iron ore in my Warband bank, after logging on to an alt, not connected to Uther, the ghost ore was missing. ** So, I tried logging back on with the toon where I could see the ghost ore, but it was STILL MISSING. I did this just to check if it would come back but it did not it was STILL MISSING. I did check the banks on my alts that mine and there was no Ghost ore in their banks. Not sure why something from the Warband bank would be moved to one of my toons banks but thought it was worth checking. No, I don’t list all the items that went missing but list one as an example. I don’t expect to get items back as Blizzard has not done this in the past. Also, moving items from the Warband to personal bank is not how the Warband works. I did check this, and the Ore was not in any of my Alt’s banks. I’ve been as detailed as possible here, I don’t expect any items return just want to know when Blizzard has fixed this issue.
Here is proof the Warband bank is NOT working correctly. I bought 10 Ghost iron - Liaan - Uther and 10 Ghost iron - Lozzik - Drak’thul and deposited them into the Warband bank. First Liaan then Lozzik. I logged off Lozzik and logged on with Liaan. Checked the Warband bank and the Ghost Iron was there. Ghost Iron 20 ore. I then clicked the “Clean up Warband Bank” button and the Ghost ore disappeared. I check Liaan’s personal bank, and the Ghost Iron was NOT there. I then logged on with Lozzik and checked his Personal bank and the Ghost Iron was NOT there. This shows how the items are disappearing and confirms there is an issue. Anyone with toons on different realms, NOT connected can do this experiment.
