So I logged after after maintenance and see this world quest called the main even gotta kill some giant mech. I do the fight twice with a bunch of randos. Not in a group or anything and I die a few times during the fight. Kill him twice no credit for the quest. Whats goin on.
I don’t even have the quest up.

WQ doesnt pop on my DK, but does on my monk. so i did it on her and got no loot also.
So should I just not do this quest in hopes they fix it?

I ran it on an alt that had the quest up and got nothing.

I don’t see the world quest but killed it and got loot though.
My bags weren’t full, but the loot came in the mail for some reason.

For the last month i have had issues with getting world quest kill credit, i get loot, but the quests rarely complete. I found that if i left the area and zoned back in with the boss up in my phase, the credit just pops sometimes.

There is a maintenance scheduled for tomorrow, so it must be to fix stuff they feel can’t wait until next Tuesday’s normal patch cycle. I’d probably wait until tomorrow at least.
Not to beat a dead horse, but yeah you might want to wait. I also just killed this for the first time this week and no loot drop.
He wasn’t available for me for a few hours this afternoon and was this evening. Killed him and got plate, on my monk. I know our warband is a thing, but that’s two weeks in a row I’ve received plate, and while I do have warriors, I don’t really gear them up, so kind of a bummer. /shrug
Okay, now this funny. There was no WQ, but after killing the boss I did get a WB item.
I never had the quest on my map either, but still got the reward.
Got cloth pants on my Hunter. I believe it all just random drops, or it’s hopes you make an alt just to use them.
Killed it once and got warbound loot but no WQ completion. Had to kill it again later on once I noticed the WQ was still up.
