I’ve periodically been experiencing an issue when purchasing decor from the vendors in Founder’s Point and other locations: when buying decor (such as the night elf beams), the white-quality items will sit in my bag instead of being learned automatically.
When attempting to learn the decor manually by right clicking on it, my character will get stuck in the animation used when learning a decor and I lose the ability to access my menu.
Same issue occurs with other decor, like the green quality Tidesage Bookcase.
Sometimes when I log in after a few hours, the white quality decor will automatically be learned like their normal behavior. At that point I’m able to switch to my alts and learn green quality decor, but eventually the issue arises, again.
I’ve checked my decor storage and I’m close to the cap, but not quite there (~4900 / 5000).

None of my housing decor items are able to be learned. When right-clicking decor items, the learn animation plays, but the transaction does not complete. I’ve tested this on multiple characters by transferred items through the Warband Bank, logged completely out of the game, and launcher and back in and nothing has worked. This started around the 3rd day of pre-patch so it’s almost been a week.

I am having the exact same issue… I have like 20 things just stuck in my bags that cannot be learned and when I try my character freezes and I lose the ability to access my menu by pressing ESC key. I can still access menu from the bar on the bottom right of the screen, however, with my character also stuck, the game is unplayable and I have no room in my bags.

Okay so - apparently I am 5000/5000 and own 5317 pieces of decor. What I was doing was buying multiple pieces of something (i.e. plants or platforms etc.) to eliminate the need to run back and forth to the vendor every time I ran out of something. And I guess that just kept adding up. Once I deleted an item - I was able to learn a new one that was in my bags and no error occurred. I have to say - 5000 is WAY too restrictive - I have already maxed out 2050 placed items (Level 5 house) but wanted to be ready for next level up… but now… lol guess I’m destroying decor pieces.

I am having the same issue with peices learned and quest rewards from dragon flight today, I am not item locked.
