What’s the reason for sitting or standing around in expeditions and purposely losing?
Are you losing mythics? There is no way you should be losing mythics?
I can understand losing island pvps. I’ve run a ton of pvp islands, and recently got my 50 wins achievement.
Mythics are easy though.

I just left one instance because 2 were just sitting in the galley of the ship.
Isn’t this a way to get a pet/mount/toy or something? I knew there was a reason why people purposely lose, I just forgot why.
You can’t get anything by afking.
Mounts and pets drop by killing things in the islands.

What you kill on the island does not determine rewards. But i dont know how winning vs losing effects rewards.
Absolutely matters for mount drops and pets, buddy.
Pets are a little more random and most mobs drop em, but mount farming is dependent on what mobs you kill.
Pretty sure they actually hotfixed/patched that so now it doesn’t matter what you kill.
Can you link an article on this? Wowheads article says it doesnt matter. When islands first launched it did matter, then blizzard changed it.

Didn’t read that in any of the patch notes.
Not that I was doing them for mount farming anyway, so all good.
Apparently wowhead says it and I wasn’t aware they made the change. Oh well.
Not even that. They were RPing eating!
You need to find a good group for islands.
What works for me is usually creating my own.

No it doesn’t. They changed it to where it only matters what type of mob is present on the island.
