Island Expeditions

So I got to my goal of 585 ilvl in preperation for M0s and M+ soon, and am now doing older content to keep myself entertained.

I’m starting with Island Expeditions. While I did do a few during BfA, I didn’t do enough to really know what I was doing.

Obviously they’re soloable now, and I just did a Mythic Island and it took about 5~ minutes.

Questions:

Are doing Mythic Islands the absolute BEST way to farm them? IE: Doubloons.
Are there any mogs/toys that are collected during the actual expedition?
Are any toys/mounts/mogs locked to certain difficulties?

Mythic tends to be the best as far as I know. It’s what I do. Mostly because the matches last a minute or two longer, there is more chance of other enemy types spawning which can influence what drops you can get.

You can get drops but it tends to be rare.

The skill tree thingy on the BFA ship has an option for an extra dubloon bag to sometimes drop. Get that! It’s not every match but it’s quite often.

Not in the expedition itself, but once you leave, that is when you see your drops.

Mythic is the way to go, yes. In my experience. I farmed them a lot in BFA and beyond.

You can check your collection when searching for ‘Island Expedition’ in mounts or toys and ‘Plunder’ for weapons and armor. :scroll::robot:

Possibly limited view since you’re a druid. :robot::sweat_drops:

edit: I can’t see any armor in plunder or island expeditions. :robot::sweat_drops:
