Just curious if it is worth raiding MC when ZG is released.
In some cases yes, in others no. Both are worth doing.

It will always be a thing to raid MC since guilds will be farming out TF’s til the end of the game, as well as gearing newer players to help them get raid ready.

Theres also some big ticket items that last awhile which keeps people killing rag on the reg.
You never get to leave MC.
Onslaught Girdle doesn’t even have anything close to it.
If you just want to catch up, yes it is better.
For casters almost nothing is good in MC except for rag drops.
The tiger is BiS for the next 15 years worth of expansions. Better than anything in MC for sure.

Some pieces are but more importantly you can’t get a full suit from ZG so you’ll always want to run MC.
The best thing about Classic that no other expansion has had is that every single raid tier had a rare item that was ‘forever beat in slot’ for numerous classes. So even when Naxxramas comes out many guilds will still have reason to run MC, BWL, ZG, and AQ if only for the rare items like onslaught, thunderfury, hand of rag, etc.

Having options is a good thing.
Especially as people start getting alts etc…
Its going to get to the point where most guilds are going to be flattening MC in 30 mins, it’s not that big a deal.
