Id agree above average but we have some dang hard counters. In PvP a stunned ww is pretty much a dead ww as we are pretty rogue squishie minus the vanish.
Pve we do feel strong finally but that will most likely fall off unless the change to how stats as a whole scales after 30% reduces in effect maybe it’ll keep ww competitive and that is all I can hope after years of wanting to return to maining one but the scaling issues always urked me away.
I’m hoping for the best at this poijt and saying we are in a very good spot atm.
PvP we are hot sexy till we are stunned. Then we die to a stiff wind.
PvE we are pretty good atm. Have to try harder than most classes (cough cough MM) but we have a place in the raid, and not because of the 5% bonus we give

The fact that we have not seen the level of nerfs like Rogue says a lot. We are above average. We can hard counter 1-2 classes but we can be countered just as easy. Karma can be bubbled. We die in a stun. We are CC’ed during burst then we can be handled.
We are definitely not OP. But others say different.
We are one of the stronger specs. Our burst period is very long, 20-35 seconds, and that outlasting most other specs defense cool downs it what’s causing problems in arenas right now.
But we don’t have any 1 button nuke and a setup time is 3 seconds minimum. So I doubt we will ever see any major nerf. We might see a re-tuning of abilities and buff to our survivability.

Xuen and Invokers is what is making it crazy. A lot of the damage got moved to Xuen.
Just wait. WW monk always finish dead last near the end of the expansion. I say in a few months WW monk will be button spec again.

Monks are straight up busted
As a lock you should shut a WW down, i can one shot anyone with any spec, just make the right moves like a game of chess.

WW is the only melee Afflocks cant kite without chanimal levels of perfection.
Their mobility is unlimited.
I dont lose to every WW just the real bad ones.

Use howl on images when cd’s are rolling try watch for incap to pop most likely they will flying kick to you and leg sweep, save port for it and keep up Curse of Exhaustion up, spec shadowfury too mainly it’s gonna be tough but anything is possible.

Pretty much this. Good in PvP unless they get locked down, then they die. Above average in raid, think top 5 overall and really good in M+ (probably the best melee along with UDK).
