Yes, into melee it got a lot tankier, and slightly tankier into casters.
It’s been tanky for a while. They have a ton of defenses to rotate and can abuse port.

WW feels very stable but not immortal or anything!
What they should do is to remove the passive dodge talent. I think stuff like that shouldn’t be in the game where you randomly dodge the stun of a swap attempt, simply by a passive.
Same goes for Yu’lon’s Grace. Not that anybody would still pick it after the 80% nerf but it was a weird design to begin with and since it has no value left, they should simply remove it.
But we shouldn’t forget, that WW is a 5 yards class only with zero dots or real range damage. So he has no option to wisely chose his positioning and need therefore by default a solid base of defense to be viable.
Imagine you are doing zero damage on range, so you are already very busy with the connection part and die to air on top of it. Doesn’t sound like a spec that anybody would like to play! And to be fair, a lot of classes feel very tanky with the new expansion.

Dude ret is insane and has an absurd amount of team utility(and yes, PLENTY of durability), especially in the arena. If you don’t think so then you’re probably W-keying instead of playing like the ranged class you are and positioning more defensively between dcds.

Way too tanky (esp. into melee) and it’s been like this for awhile, didn’t start in TWW.
Miss when good WWs actually had to utilize port to live (shadowlands was the last time this was required) separating the good from the fotm, now it doesn’t even matter
Their dam is on-par and burstier than fury at times and I’d argue WW is way more tankier.

I have noticed something like this as I play warrior. What makes monks so tough for war? It’s like they have some increased armor buff or something.

Fort Brew, parrying via Fists of Fury, the dodge talent everyone is talking about here, disarm, instant (and not insignificant) juiced Vivify, being able to RoP and heal, port and heal, instant heals provided just by porting, and double sweep (only say double sweep because most 1v1s you’re gonna get sweep back up before it’s over, and there aint no trinket for that), and how did I forget - karma on the big dam.
