First, I posted that a year ago. The last post in this thread was from a year ago. Was it really necessary to necro the thread just tell me I’m wrong? And base the argument that I’m wrong on something I never even said?
I never compared WoW to any specific game other than WoW in the Vanilla to Wrath era. (Which was the specific reference point the OP mentioned.) I compared it to the internet as a whole. (And if you think that WoW is worse than the internet as a whole, I envy your blissful bubble.) Yes, without a doubt, heavily moderated communities can be a lot less toxic than the internet as a whole. (They can also be worse.) I haven’t played FFXIV, so I’m not going to make comparisons. And, most importantly, I didn’t make a comparison between WoW and FFXIV a year ago in my original post.
