It was for me for a LONG time. I missed out on playing some really good games when they were current. I don’t regret it because I was having fun on wow. I still have fun on wow but breaks (even 2-3 days of no log ins) are great. I spent most all day yesterday playing my brand new Switch.
Starting Breath of the Wild again (put 75 hours in on my Wii U) made me realize how good some games can be.
Note this is NOT an anti wow thread because I also look forward to getting on wow tonight and running more M+ with my friend.
Yes. I regret playing anything else actually.

I also like to play (solo) FPSs that incorporate some type of stealth/sniper play into them.
WoW for me. I just can’t get into any other game.
On a positive note my spriest alt is finally 402 lol

No. I also play SWTOR, which I have played at launch. I take a break from SWTOR from time to time and that is when I play Wow. I originally played SWG until it closed. I am more of a Star Wars girl but Wow can be fun, at least for me.
I run a vanilla Minecraft server for a couple of co-workers, guildies, and friends but other than that WoW is all there is. I’ve tried to play other games but always come crawling back feeling like I’m wasting my time if I’m not in WoW.
Only WoW for now. Sometimes The Sims and Pokémon, although I think I’ll stop playing altogether, except WoW. I love WoW’s lore.
Nope. I’m kind of a schizophrenic gamer. Right now I’m bopping between wow and path of exile. I recently played through the dead space series again, and I will always play my survival games: rust, stranded deep, subnautica.

Of course not. It is my only MMO. Just started Diablo 3 for the Switch. It’s incredible imo.

For the time being, yes. Because I have so much mental energy tied up in other parts of life, it can be difficult to start new games… the inertia just isn’t there. It’s a lot easier to just fire up WoW when I have spare downtime.

I dabble with Conan Exiles and have jammed uncounted hours into FTL.
Not any more, and I’m so thankful.
WoW was the only game I played for about a decade… so once I finally broke the addiction it was fun catching up on a decade’s worth of amazing games.
Can’t wait for Monster Hunter World’s expansion!

It is the only MMO that I play. Have other games in other genres. Don’t have any consoles.

I am waiting on halo infinte , so wow is the only thing that i am playing.
I play FF14, Anno 1800, and I’m going back through Witcher 3 as well right now.
No, I play other games a whole lot more than I used to. Thank you BfA for freeing up more time for that by making me not want to play.
To those that only play wow…I understand but I also feel for you. There are other experiences out there that are just so amazing. It should be a crime to limit yourself!! (J/K don’t verbally kill me over it)

Yes.
Primarily because I can’t afford any additional games.
Additionally, because WoW eats up enough of my time and physical endurance as-is.
I still crank up the old PS3 and play some Battlefield 4.
Some Final Fantasy XIV, some League of Legends, a bit of Warframe when the BF pesters me to play. I haven’t played a console game in ages though, I’m pretty much always glued to my PC.
