I play my FF14 toon and he doesn’t feel the need to yawn in an exaggerated fashion every 10 seconds. I really wish they would put this “feature” to rest- it’s unrealistic and distracting.

We DKs never yawn. My eyes burn eternal though. I actually sleep with my eyes open. Also, I see dead people.

It’s a human female idle animation. Because you’re idle. And she’s bored. Don’t be idle and she won’t get bored.
I like the yawn. It is realistic to be bored standing around doing nothing. And if you’re standing there staring at your character while idle, finding this “distracting,” well… I don’t know what to tell you. Sounds like a very petty and you issue.

It’s not unrealistic. None of my characters has had a minute of sleep in 15 years. They’re exhausted.

They sleep when you log out, that’s why they get rested xp

Do they? As far as I can tell, they just stand frozen in place (presumably yawning every 5 seconds) waiting for me to come back.

So do you just idle at your pc with the camera facing your characters face?
Our characters pretty much beat gods, are immortal and have superhuman abilities.
It is natural they will get bored and start yawning at everything .
