It is the paid carry bracket. open the service channel and buy a “boost” like most people do.

What’s sad is cata PvP is actually pretty awful, its a less refined version of retail PvP with PvE gear coming online later. Playing Cata arena and saying you don’t like retail arena is absolutely a weird take because cata is so much closer to retail than the first 3 expacs. Also how can someone enjoy stuff like instant clone, double smoke bomb, triple dps, lmao while trash talking retail. Too funny.
Comp strength is too great in cata, the broken comps are extremely omega broken and the non-meta comps are just downright awful, so you have everyone meta slaving really hard (just like wotlk classic and tbc)

Both Cata and Retail are dead
…yes, they gave infinite mobility to every class, they made every skill AOE or cleave…every class has like 5 different cc so classes like mage and rogue have no purpose anymore… they killed it, and it was intentional

I month or two ago some one pulled RSS and 3v3 numbers from the Bliz api for seasons 1,2 and 3. The numbers were consistent across all seasons, to that point. They seemed pretty high. You could confirm how dead Season 4 is or is not, by pulling those numbers again and comparing them with Season 4. Also combine them with Cata and you’d have a good idea if 3v3 was actually dead and it’s not just an emotions based post: ie, it is dead because I feel it is dead.
I don’t know how to pull, but others here do. Maybe some of you know players who have experience with that.
Add: From my end, with random/epic bgs popping sub 5 min on both horde and alliance at all hours, for the whole expansion, pvp is not in any way dead…and probably never will be.
How about sticking to wow and stop being a doomer downer.

WoW PvP is the best MMO PvP on the planet atm. It just is. It has been for a long long time.
Go on and try all the others. Seriously, GW2, ESO, SWTOR, FF14, Rifts, whatever I’m forgetting…Runescape? /shrug (Wildstar? lol)

Yes it is, but 3’s is a dying bracket. PvP on it’s own is doing fine.

You may be correct about that. There certainly seems to posts about it. I’d like to see numbers from the API, but what I see, it’s the same same as always. PvP, PvP, PvP all the way down.
There’s only 40 r1 spots in 3’s. That’s a good indicator of how active the ladder is.
