IS WOW Healing dead?

Healing in m+ has been the worst it’s ever been.

Spiked healing in roads is worst . All healers are having to snipe heals to get noticed on meters.

What is going on with this game …

Lowest healer inventory ever.

Is this game dead now ? Should I just move on to something else ?

Healing is in a weird spot right now for sure but dead? No. The problem is healing is Overpowered in raids, and somewhat Underpowered in M+ when dealing with avoidable damage.

The real problem in M+ lies squarely on people not performing as a team, not getting out of avoidable damage, not interrupting, acting as if all affixes are “healer affixes” etc. not that healers are really underpowered.

Sunday happens in two days. On weekends the full time forum posters are out of office, so they like to pretend the quality goes down and the crazies come out. Mostly it’s because they didn’t think to post it first though.

After the latest tuning for holy paladin, yes.

look, the reality is that healers are not designed around the way damage is happening. they just aren’t. and it’s not fun.

holy paladin was able to handle it because they were redesigned properly, but now theyre tuned down. even though holy palaidn can still do it, why would they want to? its not fun

You should add a disclaimer that this is regarding the highest levels of an infinite scaling system where enemy damage is more than double what happens at 20s (highest level with rewards) and pulls are much larger to meet the dps requirements to time.

For reference the scaling is:

+20 - 428%
+30 - 1145%

Well, i mean.

who literally cares about lower content? in 20s or lower, things are so easily manageable that anyone with gear and hands can heal it.

Infinite scaling means reaching a breaking point eventually right?

Either in survivability, dps, or both, that prevents timing the key.
