Is WoW going to shut down?

As long as people are paying money to post on the forums all day long, WoW will survive.

Because people are addicted to this game and are addicted to complaining about it on the forums.

A God made. Not even a business.

No, it will not be shut down.

Stop believing idiots online.

WoW has an extremely healthy playerbase (it’s literally in the top 5 for online MMOs at the moment, fighting with FFXIV for the top spot). As long as that remains the case, it will always be supported by Blizzard.

It literally generates millions in revenue for Blizzard every single month.

He did ? Got proof ? Did he really made those churches and put ads on tv , and im not gonna say about those insolent children

I mean no… It’s most definitely a business.

An honest question with an honest answer that both pertains the topic about “WoW shutting down”.

Doomsayer thread.

Yes. He did and he’s gonna need some donations too. Just put whatever you have on you I’m the collection plate when it comes around.

eventually it will. Nothing last forever. But until then I’ll enjoy the ride as long as I’m having fun

I mean, it will eventually. But for now I think the game is holding up well enough. Despite what the forums may indicate at times, Dragonflight is viewed pretty favorably by a lot of people.

yep wow’s shutting down its all over people pack it in. :foot:

It does.

Good, because thinking that would suggest significant deficits in logic.

No, there will definitely be expansions. That’s a cash cow. If fewer people play, they’ll just make the expansions more expensive.

You shouldn’t be asking if WoW is going to shut down.

It’s not. Neither of us will live to see the day WoW’s servers go offline. I doubt we’ll live to see the death of EverQuest 1.

The question you should be asking is: “Will future expansions be any good or will Blizzard continue to milk what they can out of the immortal husk of decaying WarCraft?”

DCUO and SWTOR are a couple other examples as well.

haven’t people said this since like…TBC?

Cutting costs such as QA and CS will do that.

The shroud of Turin

This has been going on for 18 years.

These “other people” are petulant buffoonish man children that are angry at how their lives have turned out. So, they go off on things like WoW by making absurd demands and losing their minds over a lost loot roll.

When they do indeed shut down WoW, this same human garbage will proclaim they ‘won’, because they called it.

Blizzard is not great. They’ve become progressively worse over the years and more so since Bobby showed up. But, there IS a market and there are people who pay, play and enjoy WoW.

Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean others shouldn’t like it as well - and THAT drives these losers insane.

First off Circles are not real, they are an abstraction. What we call circles are only circles in so much as we can observe them. There is no actual perfect curve to fit a circle as an idea, there are merely curvatures that appear to be circles when examined with the naked eye.

Circles as they are observed begin when they are physically drawn and end when they are physically destroyed. The drawing of circles itself begins with the first touch and ends when the circle reaches its beginning. At which point any further drawing is not drawing a circle but merely tracing over the circle that has already been drawn. All things that have a beginning have an end. WoW has a beginning and thus has an end.

If a circle isnt real, then you’re not real.
