What is this Archon addon you speak of?
The average cata player was prolly 15 when the original cata came out. I myself was in my 20s. I highly doubt the average cata player is under 30. Also us older gamers are the only ones keeping classic alive, which I dont even know why. There’s only so much fun in nostalgia until you realize that classic will never be anything like the original for a multitude of reasons.

The community turned on itself from the very beginning with their gatekeeping garbage and parse culture. Blame the sweatlords and the tryhards that raged at the devs that EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE HARDER.

I don’t know anyone hype for Cata and the number of bugs introduced with the world revamp is laughable. I couldn’t even level through Durotar without encountering half a dozen bugs.

ST phase 3 was dead after the third lockout cuz of the honor gear so many people were complaining about dropped
There’s more to do in prepatch than sod rn…
Which was killed by the lame damage and healing reduction they are implementing every weekend for God knows why

You may be correct. And I understand that reasoning.
But again my first 30 mins in Cata I met a mod 20 something who had never heard of SoD and was like a puppy dog wanting to quest. /4 is POPPING with fun convos every time I login currently.
Is that enough for me to switch games? Yes absolutely yes. Unless you really got a crush on your main tank who doesn’t talk to you then I dont see any point in sticking around SoD.
Again, immediate impressions are important. Everyone in SoD is edging 40.

Yet you’re the one always complaining how the game doesn’t work well for casuals. I mean, otherwise you wouldn’t always be complaining lol. So if the game doesn’t cater to your version of casual, how do you really figure the game is made for casuals?
Maybe SoD isn’t meant to cater to exactly what you want. Maybe saying something doesn’t automatically make it true.
Archon is a new addon currently in Beta that puts parses from Warcraft Logs into the game on the tooltip of any player who has data in warcraft logs… so just by hovering your mouse over people you can see their parse, which I think will make SoD even more toxic.
