we dont use the tool. we use addons for groupfinder. BulletinBoard and such.

Youāre so cringe. There was 167 active AVās when I was on tonight. Thatās 13,000 people just in AV on the two realms from Horde and Ally. The realms arenāt dying just because you couldnāt find a mara group in the in game tool. And also, news flash, most people donāt use the tool, they just use LFG chat.

There is a claim that LFG tool only works for layers.
There is 100s or maybe even 1000s of people all in Maraudon 24/7, you just have to pay $$$$ to be in the group.

Compounded with people just being way less incentivized to level alts in general because:
- Other than there eventually being a tbc realm (eww), thereās no info on what happens after vanilla (specifically if the toons can opt to Era)
- The vanilla cycle weāre on is already cut in half. Thereās literally half as much time to level/gear any alts as it is.
EDIT: Iād add, my warrior alt (my third toon) just hit SM levels, and I havenāt seen groups for that in over a week. Itās all mage boost groups now.

Yep its dead, any pirate server will give you a better classic experience, its really pathetic if you think about it.

literally everyone is doing BGS Bro. more then half of the players on here are already 60 and sitting in a good place with gearing and all of those people are literally on nightslayer for PVP. so it makes perfect sense that one day LFG is popping for a place like mara (80% of those posts being boosts for weeks now) and now all of a sudden the dungeon ques are slow. what happened? PVP. if you think its dead, by all means go realm hop, the rest of us will be by the battlemasters.

and id like to add, the trend has and always will be, BGs release, people cap honor, people make an alt or another alt, people dungeon again, and the cycle continues. but yea, DEAD SERVER BOYS I CANT EVEN CLICK ON THE WSG BM ALL THESE BOTS STANDING IN HERE HELP WHAT REALM ISNT DEAD AAAHHH

Mara is a leveling dungeon during a time when most people who will hit 60 have hit 60, and the gear that matters from it can be soloād. Its just not gonna have a lot of people running it
Very few people use the LFG tool comparative to 3rd party addons. Most people arenāt going to use an authenticator just to list a group.
Most players are buying gold and paying mages for boosts. Itās even hard to get friends to play twinks. They just want to raid log with an account full of transmuters.
One day of raiding and one day of PvP per week isnāt enough content to stay engaged. I wonāt be resubbing.

Not everyone uses the retail features, most of the Era players youāre surrounded by use LFG chat and Discord.

As a player on anniversary most days lately, your idea that the server is ādeadā is kinda laughable.
Iāve had no trouble forming groups for literally any dungeon, at even the weirdest hours (as as third shift type of guy) and the cities are absolutely full of people despite their being several layers all the time.
Maybe youāre just poor at assessing player populations?
So dead. Not more than 10 players currently queued for AV.
