I have looked into a few guilds. They are not hardcore, but they require things like putting gems in your gear. Enchanting your gear and even using consumables.
I have never played wotlk, but from reading the forums, you get the sense that you can raid in greens because it is so easy. If you can raid in greens then why would consumables be needed or gems in gear.

Gemming and enchanting your gear is the absolute base level of preparedness for raiding…
That is because people were steamrolling the raids in the base template gear on the beta. It’s not a “sense”, it’s reality. I can’t tell if this is a troll post or not.
It is not any different than any other raid progression guild in any expansion and who said people raid in greens? People wearing greens in raids are typically being carried but geared guildies.
This is not hardcore this is the bare minimum, so 24 other people don’t waste their time with you
Just because you can clear the content in greens (assuming you’re good players), doesn’t mean you should. Being shocked that people expect the bare minimum means you probably aren’t ready to raid.
I think it’s a little overexaggerated.
I think a lot of us remember OS/Naxx being easier due to better gear.
It won’t be hard, but full greens may not make it possible. Still need pre-raid BIS’ish. Not full, but still some gear will be necessary.
Then there is also challenge modes, like in OS and Ulduar.
Then there are Heroic modes.
Then there is Lich King 
Theres only a few real sticking points in Wrath raiding.
Firefighter, 0 Light, Algalon, 25m Heroic Anubarak, Heroic Lana’thiel, Heroic LK.
Beyond that most fights are pretty straightforward.
Firefighter i imagine will be significantly easier this time around due to 14 years of pservers showing how to push DPS harder and faster. 0 Light will have a librarys worth of guides trivializing it, Algalon will be both. Anubarak is honestly just the Gorefiend of Wrath. Lana’thiel too, theyll both have “that guy”.
25m heroic LK is probably the only Hard boss that will remain legitimately hard. Its an execution fight loaded with DPS checks.

You can do the raids with crap gear.
Just like how in TBC you can do Kara at 68.
Nothing in this game was hard until Cata because blizzard wanted to punish the players for saying how easy wrath was. That’s why everyone is so against cata classic. It ruined the dad guilds that brag about speed clearing ez mode content.

Nah homie. Classic had mechanics they were just straightforward. Either your tank is getting destroyed or your raid is getting sprayed with avoidable damage. Or both.
