No trolling, honest question are the changes good/enough to warrant the delay?
Personal opinion: The delay was not worth it (yet), because instead of ‘pull-the-ripcord’, we got a series of systems so neutered thats not worth complaining about.

I was excited forvthe super unbalanced covenants. I think a bit of class unbalance is good for a game like WoW. Let’s everyone shine once and a while.
Its still early; maybe we will still get a complete systems redesign but its not likely. Blizz only fixes stuff 2 weeks before it becomes obsolete.
Yeah I don’t have still a ton of faith but who knows what can happen.
they were ready to release a week from now, right now they are just tuning and fixing the bugs , no rework of anything
I agree that’s its not going to get a major rework but I still think it needs one to justify the delay.
I think they will lose a lot of subs without a major rework.
we have to wait for the wait to be over to see if the wait was worth it. right now, we are still waiting.
No one has the answer because we’re not at a release state.
I hope its worth the wait but as Thanos said “Blizzard is often disappointing”
A slight delay can do wonders.
If you would have delayed this post by 10 seconds and read it over, you wouldn’t have mangled the title.
Would you like a messed up, buggy, unblanaced mess that will take longer to fix after it’s live?
If not, then yes, the delay is very much warranted.
I thought so but blizzard some how are spending the time they’ve given themselves to make classes worse and make bad design choices
So I’m starting to wonder
Overall the game wasn’t ready and needed to be delayed
I’ll assume that is rhetorical; I expect any digital product to have a few bugs. Its more of the core design philosophy that I’m worried about with shadowlands.
Agreed, if bugs ruined games the elder scrolls series wouldn’t be as popular as they are.
If it makes the game better than yeah it’s worth it for it to be more completed balanced and less bugs
I’m not really arguing if the delay was needed, I’m more asking if its worth it yet?
Look i get it BFA sucked and the prepatch is kinda boring. I think that we are just now figuring out everything that’s too broken to ship the game with. I don’t think they have fixed enough to justify the delay though. There is too much broken.
I hope we see a major beta patch with tons of fixes in the near future but there us a lot of time left for a 2020 release.
From what I’m glimpsing from feedback, no not really.
Shadowlands might have a smoother bug free launch but it seems like the Covenants/Conduits and Legendries components just compound issues on a class by class, specialization by specialization basis.
It doesn’t matter how much time they take to try and make new systems stick when the whole thing is balanced on a plate that’s already askew.
I’m hopeful that everything will launch with no bugs, flaws, or game breaking issues. But in reality I know there will be bugs, there will be crazy unbalanced combinations that get nerfed and make people mad. I’m fully aware that launch day will be a mess of server issues with quest issues.
I don’t think the delay has made enough progress to justify it yet.
