Twistier plot twist…, Alleria cheating on both of them with Bread…
I am sure this isn’t happening, yet the possibility of it or even just Alleria thinking it would be catastrophic. I’m imagining a void infused Alleria on the warpath against the regent king of SW.(Though anduin should be returning maybe)
Few people will root for the zealot, and Turalyon’s definitely that.
My bet is that his time as “acting regent” of Stormwind will go to his head, he’ll try to purge anything that he perceives as anti-Light from the city, stary a holy crusade, and Anduin will have to put the old dog in his place.
Andy might give a pass to his old Uncle Genn (if he had any part in Turalyon’s mismanagement of Stormwind and/or the Alliance), because that dog’s a bit of a warmonger too (he admittedly does have legit issues over his son’s death and Sylvie’s part in that, but he’d be happy to crusade on the Horde “just because”, so he’s just as bad as Turalyon in my book of wagers).
Opposites attract. Liadrin is nothing.
Turalyon accepted Alleria even after being infused by the void. I wouldn’t call that a zealot.
I call it true love <3
He can still be a zealot without sacrificing his marriage. True love tends to transcend religious beliefs.
I can’t even
That’s true, but every strong leader needs a side piece, y’know? And it’s not like Vol’jin is gonna be returning her calls any time soon. (Although…)
You’d think a paladin of all people would know about Protection.
Nah, that’d be weird, she’s his subordinate.
Let’s split the difference: Warlords-era Yrel comes back with an army of Lightforged to conquer Azeroth and Turalyon joins her side.
He’s a human - the most boring race - and a paladin - the most boring class. And unlike Uther, who got out there and did stuff, all Turalyon’s done is be a footman and hit some things.
Even the past two expansions that he’s been running the show in Stormwind he’s been pretty much asleep at the switch, except when he briefly roused himself for whatever boring thing the human heritage questline is supposed to be about.
If the guy’s gonna be a main character he needs to do something exciting, something with pizzazz, and stat!
Only a fool would cheat on a Windrunner
I mean they’re all pretty hot.
Plot Twist: Alleria is cheating on Turalyon with Umbric.
The perspective you have on Turalyon is not grounded in reality at all and there’s 0 context from the game you could have gatheted to have this opinion.
Turalyon is the opposite of all those things. I’m starting to think no one knows what zealot actually means.
He’s probably not, though I’d expect Xal’atath to play on that angle with Alleria.
Can they just be friends
I walked right in to Stormwind and killed Turalyon in single combat with 0 buffs with Warmode On. Very likely the only guy who has ever done it. Took an hour and a half, had to swap shields when mine broke. Dude’s a paper champion.
This is the only thing I could ever see actually being canon. Though I doubt even blizzard would want to play that angle. Xal’atath is trying to break Alleria so I hope she can see through any of the lies.
