I’m not entirely sure why but it seems like a very large majority of the people I group with via premade group finder that are from the servers Illidan, Frostmourne, or Sargeras are extremely toxic… if someone could explain why this is the case it would be appreciated because as it stands it just feels like I have to put guards up whenever I encounter someone new from one of those servers.

I think so in part. There’s some servers I’ve blacklisted completely or a certain region that shall remain nameless for it.

Big servers have a big pool to pick d***bags out, happens. Most jerseys move to those type of realms.
It’s just I never see toxicity from people on my realm or Aerie Peak or even Dalaran

Many servers have a reputation, especially the bigger ones. Illidan, Mal’ganis, Tichondrius, Ragnaros, Azralon, Quel’thalas, Proudmoore, Moon Guard, Wyrmrest Accord, these are the servers that come to mind with a reputation that I see most often. I’m sure I’m missing others, but these are the ones that come primarily to mind.
As far as toxicity, I can say PvP focused servers tend to have a higher dose of toxicity in general. While every server has its jerks, some either have a higher population thus more toxicity, or others just attract that type of player.
Do they not realize there’s a real life human being on the other side of their toxicity? Or do they just not care?
i agree illidan server has some of the most bad/toxic players

Yes because you have some big servers with some big egos on them, but I think that is almost any server. I think why it seems some are more toxic than others is because they are more populated so you get people from them more often which in turns gives more chances for egos to pop up.
No because of well the same reason, I know. Makes no sense. It did/does in my head!

Used to be easy and you could just say RP was least toxic and PVP was most toxic, with a few overpopulated exceptions. That said I seem to run into a lot of cornballs from Tich, even if it’s just a messed up name that server is weird to me. I’m on an RP server and we just merged with a bunch of filthy foreigners (not literal foreigners just other servers) and I think there went any shreds of community we had. I see lots of people now, but I see more trolls too.
I guess the lesson is more people more problems.
Non issue for me as well. The people that speak of it most seem to be the ones surrounded with it which is ironic.
Every server has toxicity, some just have more then others. Watch out for the servers streamers play on
I wouldn’t consider this server toxic. More like it has a lot of people who are, uh, “disturbed”.

Nah, not toxic. I more listed out every server that I know of that has a “reputation.” For Moon Guard, we all know what the reputation is, even if most of the server is actually quite nice, haha.
