Is This the REAL Reason Blizzard Won't Add The Mage Tower Weapons?

Could it be that they are afraid of getting sued or there is some kind of legal issue with adding back certain appearances that upper management is pushing on them? Maybe this situation is similar to the Reserved-List from Magic The Gathering? The Devs really want to give us these Weapon and armor appearances, but are not allowed to do so.

This hardline opinion about “Preserving the prestige” of theirs isn’t consistent with the attitudes of modern Blizzard. The amount of people who would be mad is very small. There has to be another reason for it.

No, blizzard created the mage tower appearances themselves.

It is not like the Horde motorcycle that was created by another company who legally owns the design.

And the exact same conditions were given as other items that they have or are bringing back. There’s no legal issue.

They’re just genuinely putting on a circus.

It is in line with their beliefs, yes people would be upset, and it’d tarnish the reward system for WoW… which, is basically already in tatters.

Legion Classic.

Nah, man. That’s just silly.

Doesnt help when they go on a monologue session about prestige and history, along with challenges. Then a few lines down put back a Mythic TOV set and an AotC mount back in the game… which were both harder than the magetower.

I’m assuming they are trying to balance their sub numbers.

Some number of us (like myself), are permanently 12 month subbed and only play to acquire limited items (i.e. mage tower, chosen garb, PvP elite sets, etc).

The question is probably a balance of sub numbers and how far they can push it. Like how many subs they will gain by handing out the chosen garb vs losing subs. Personally, I won’t unsub due to the chosen garb, but if mage tower and/or PvP elite sets are suddenly unlocked I wouldn’t be interested in the game anymore.

So they probably are balancing the sub numbers really
