too busy making the new hero talents for enh only interact with 1/2 of each build
they’re not asleep at the wheel, there’s just no one driving.
Every other class is getting changes done to their base talent tree and shaman has seen basically nothing other than a few talents removed from enhance’s tree.
Defensives and raid utility need to be in the base class tree, but Blizzard hasn’t even touched them.
They also really need to make changes in the spec trees as well. Particularly for fire ele and storm enhance builds.
I won’t lie I saw the right side of the treee and was like sick this will be sick playing elementslist with summoning hella totems and hitting huge fire ball volleys etc, then saw the left side and was like, wait what. Why is the storm related. Then saw the ascendance node and was like, who is the build for.
Don’t forget Sundering
Totemic is so nutty I can’t imagine they ain’t messing with the enhance spec tree. If we hear nothing in three weeks I will be concerned then, until then it’s just a weird talent tree waiting for justification.

unpopular opinion but I love sundering and will use any excuse to take it because thematically, visually, and as the only skillshot cooldown for enhance, its friggin awesome and I wish it was better. But maybe it will be better with totemic and that fat 200% tremor. Imagine hitting a 150% amped totem with ascendance into a 200% sundering tremor totem on a fat pack of mobs. Sounds AWESOME. I do think the whole tree needs a rework , the storm vs primalist tribalism and build restrictiveness is hella dumb. Picking buttons shouldnt be as at odds with the flow of the spec to the degree that it is in enhance.
Honestly our mastery should just str8 up be reworked for one or abilities be altered.
some classes have good masteries that synergize across all versions of the spec…
fury warriors come to mind
Mastery: Increases the damage bonus of Enrage , oh hey enrage makes you do more damage and now im enraged all my buttons do more damage lol.
or warlocks
destruction warlock - your spells do more damage period
enhance mastery feels not really fully encompassing, maybe they should just make SS nature damage and maybe the spirit wolves talent should let you instead of even at that point have it be any chance of physical be a choice of , dogs, witch doctor bones then choice of :
- storm dogs
- ice dogs
- fire dogs
ice being the flat damage buff but lesser amount.
Also doomwinds should be reworked or scrapped. A 1.5 minute CD for an a buff that lasts 8 seconds and its on global… wtf asked for that change.

100% chance to gain Windfury Weapon and increases Windfury Weapon damage by 25% for 12 sec. 1 min CD
Ascendance should probably be completely re tuned. 3 minute cds just feel bad and DRE feels terrible. This should just be a 2 minute cooldown or if its 3 minutes it should last HELLA long. 15 sec duration is way to short… and DRE is, well DRE.
