Is this Prepatch?

I thought this PTR was opened to test warbands only. Or are you testing the prepatch content as well?

I thought it was only for warbands only as well. Launching the PTR seems to connect me to the same server as the beta, which was a bit confusing.

Edit: if I go to realm selection, I see 9 servers under “test server” so I’m wondering if it’ll be there. 5 are still incompatible but 4 are listed as offline.

I was able to log on to the top four servers and copy my account and characters over so I’m thinking this is the Warband, you can’t actually log on like stated but it seems to be working for some at least.

I was just curious because the development notes list a lot more than just warbands, and it seemed odd to include all that extra information if the PTR was only open to copy characters. I might be reading more into this than I should :joy:

Heya! The War Within Pre-expansion PTR has opened up for the Warband conversion test and will transition to the War Within pre-expansion content on June 18. That’s when you’ll be able to test all the content the update has to offer.

I seem to have gotten ahead of myself and was being too proactive and posted the full PTR notes out of excitement. Future Linxy will be happy the work is done at least? Sorry for the confusion! :stuck_out_tongue:

Was curious to see what it was, as it was listed as available, tried to log on twice and received one of those error message reporting screens. I gather it isn’t working atm, which is fine as I was merely curious.

So today is the 17th…and Im not getting anything but ‘world server down’ on the ptr…is it supposed to be working yet?

yeah…same crap today…acts like its gonna load then kicks me out saying “world server down”.

Not worth bothering with at a point.

Question, should the warband features be implemented on the PTR. I logged in and I am showing no Dragonflight renowns whatsoever on any of my characters.

youve been able to get all the way into the PTR?
Mine pretends is going to, but the loading bar stops about 90% and boots me saying the world server is down…still today

I had to double check, because it looked exactly like the beta. I see that some of the characters I copied were there (ones I didn’t copy into the beta), so it is the PTR. Oh, I did get booted after a few minutes, so who knows if I was supposed to be in there yet.
