Is this new PC worth the price?

For the last 9 years of my life, i’ve been using absolutely awful PCs and laptops. I’m 19 now, and I can finally work towards something that won’t be played on a wooden plank held by the armrests of an ancient chair given to me by my grandpa. However, I share a brain with my dumb old dog and I don’t know if this PC is worth the price.

The left armrest on my ancient throne has been destroyed, and can no longer support the plank. If I don’t get a new PC soon, I might just die (ingame)

I’m looking for a PC to stream on btw, everything here, including the case and power supply is ~$1400

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU: RTX 2060
Memory: 2x8GB Viper Steel
Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING x570 PLUS
Storage: SN750 1TB SSD

also should I get a 1TB HDD as well?

i would easily pass on that PC and avoid HDD for anything but back up drives not main PC drives. The 2060 is about to be replaced by Nvidia and the AMD will have better processor at the 3700x price point coming out. Mobo is great but not something you get if you just want a no thrill gaming PC that won’t be OC. Same with the SSD, great in benchmarks but the WD blue will perform the same in gaming. It looks like someone is trying to sell off parts for what they purchased them for when they came out not what they their value is now.

I’d say this pc is good, unless you’re willing to wait 3-6 months more for newer/more powerful hardware like the 3000 series, Amd’s 5000 series and Intels upcoming 11th gen to be in stock. I myself have a Ryzen 5 3600, 2070 super, 1 tb SSD along with the same Mobo (x-570 plus). I play in 1080p 144hz (Play Wow 99% of the time)

Something else to consider or get a better idea on what you can get for your $$
https://maingear.com/blackfriday/ 5600x, 16gb ram, 3070, 512gb NVME ssd, 1tb hdd. OOS atm but maybe they will get stock.

Also can try
https://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Cyber-Monday-Sale-AMD-Ryzen-7-2020/W/1240584 doesnt have O/S but you can buy it off ebay for cheap ( would need to have win 10 installed already to make a usb stick to install) or add it to cart for $60/90 home/pro $1530 before O/S

The Vybe 3 looks like a good pick, I’ll look more into it. Thanks bro <3
