I think this is a first but I’m not sure. There are no pets that can be caged and sold. It’s always nice to be able to try and find the ones on the AH that you just can’t get. Like the raid one. And there are no new world quest pets battles. Feels different this time around. I think it was too rushed to really think it through.
All the morning maintenances, several of them multi-hour like today, is a sure giveaway that 10.2 was rushed. Lack of any pet WQs is another sign. I would kind of expect to see more pet content added later.
Only Rithro Looks like they’re updating that today, and other pets will be cageable!
They’d been pretty consistent with adding new battles, so I was surprised to find nothing on the PTR this patch.
That said, in general it feels like attention/staff have already been diverted away from DF and toward future xpacs. As though they made a LOT of this way ahead of time, we had some staffing overlap for the first few patches to be right on top of things to fix them, and no we’ve got the WoW version of a skeleton crew for fixes.
It’s also pretty normal for Pet Battle content to be the first thing dropped off a to-do list if they don’t have enough time. Despite it getting more player engagement than Mythic Raiding

Rithro and Snorr are cageable now. Guessing the rest of Elianna’s Dream Infusion pets are too.

All the Emerald Bounty pets are cageable now (plus the Dream Infusion pets). I’m glad they decided to make this change! As cute as Snoots is, getting a 4th one and having to either destroy it or let it take up a bag slot was not very fun.
I would have also been happy with a duplicate-protection type of mechanic for the drops instead of cageable, but maybe making them cageable was an easier fix I dunno lol

Glad to hear about the changes. Now if those raid pets would go there all would be great. I just can’t do the raiding but I can make some gold to buy pets. Wish I could raid but not physically able.

As of today, they made the new pets that drop from the seeds cageable. Thank you blizz!
Raiding is hard for me since I have a messed up wrist after breaking it back in Feb. My dps is wrecked by the fact I only have 40-50 percent range of motion in my right hand/wrist.
