I’m guessing not Yoshi, but some FF14 fans probably are DDOSing the servers, yes. They see FF14 getting disrespected and they are the most insane fanboys in gaming history. So I would not be surprised at all of it was a FF14 fan DDOS.

I would both be surprised and disappointed yet not surprised or dissapointed.

Hell, let me give a hot take: Endwalker isn’t as good as Shadowbringers but it’s still miles better than what WoW can shovel RN (Plus generally more stable, once you’re in the servers you’re in the servers barring unforeseen DCs)

I don’t like or play FF, but I always make sure to leave a character online doing absolutely nothing. Right in the starting area just sucking up a server slot. I haven’t done a single quest or anything LOL. Always laugh knowing in peak hours I’m killing off someone’s spot.

there is a weird sub-group of people that play wow that legitimately don’t play any other game. it’s strange.

Funny thing is, I play both games, some of the criticism lodged at both don’t really hold water if people actually just agreed to disagree. I played WoW more during Legion, FFXIV more during Shadowbringers and right now, I play a bit of both, FFXIV when I can get in and do some leveling after work and WoW to do my weeklies/ doing bgs since FFXIV isnt really into pvp. We can co-exist and I know Im not the only one since my FC and Guild have a lot of crossover. :3
