Is this name against the TOS?

Excuse my ignorance but what is crypto currency?

I’m offended because it’s not a good name.

You are thinking it’s super clever and witty, but it’s not. It offends me. I would 100% report it.

Bitcoin was the big one. People were going nuts over it a couple years ago.
It’s basically a form of digital currency not backed by any banks… and so a lot of people were saying things like “It’s the future currency of the world”

Also there were people saying it was mostly being used by criminals on the internet because it was hard to trace or whatever.

Here is better information than what I was able to remember off the top of my head. Just remove the space after the ‘h’

Oh i am TOTALLY done with unregulated websites on the internet, I’ve learned my lesson the hard way, one too many times. Trust official things ONLY, I mean as much as part of me loathes big government regulation and that side of it can go too far, my experience with trusting unregulated things on the internet to buy/sell, find accommodation and so on, has always been overwhelmingly negative. I mean geez, not long ago I found a place online on a dodgy website, that person wouldn’t even let me connect to their household internet on my phone. Screw that.

Official regulated things only now please, shut everything else down.

They were almost too strict about a year ago but seem to have lessened the rules. Groups were reporting falsely and being automated it would disconnect people. Now I see violators everywhere and no one cares. I’m not petty enough to report someone I see but others are.

Basically none of this is enforced

Against Temple of Sethraliss? Wut m8?

I’m joking, I think the name is fine and I enjoy the comedic touch. If someone does report you for it they are a very special kind of sensitive.

As someone from the US, what in the world does that mean?

Allegedly:

An unemployed person who has no intention of seeking a job, and survives on government-funded unemployment benefits.

As long as you’re not on an RP server, you’re fine. It doesn’t matter if anyone finds something offensive or not. When a name is flagged, a GM looks at it and compares it to the naming rules. If no rules are broken, you wouldn’t even know that you were flagged.

Didn’t the king queen, etc… prohibition used to be spelled out in the naming policy page? It looks a little sparse these days.

Yeah, I miss the old support article. It was definitely more comprehensive :frowning:

Agree 100% , people who seriously take offence to a TOON NAME called “Taxfraud” needs to get their heads checked. Seriously its a BANK TOON…u know…a toon used to store junk on and do the usual auction house stuff so it revolves around gold and whatnot. It doesn’t mean “OMG HE IS PROMOTING TAXFRAUD AND THEREFOR I AM SO OFFENDED BY THAT NAME” lol and people complain that blizzard is anti fun ? My goodness some of you need to seriously grow a sense of humor.

Im offended by some of you being offended over something so silly.

Two words? That is in there? Everyone of my toons is somethingpotato and I never had a problem.

No it would not be except for on RP realms. So many people haven’t even read the naming guidelines.

Please go look it up and point what part of it she would be breaking.

We call them welfare queens and other things that are probably inappropriate for the forums.

I never saw a character named Taxfraud in TOS, TNG or any other series, but guess it would be fine.

Two word names are only against the naming policy on RP servers, and even then it’s only enforced if somebody reports it.

Whew. I panicked for a second. I am not very creative with names and was afraid if my potato theme went out the window all my guys would end up being Bob, Joe and Sally.
