Hey there guild on another char is looking for a guild name and one of the ones thrown in the ring was “Hydra” and I’m worried that it would get us in trouble am I a worry wort or am I justified?
And why would it be bannable?

I’m confused, why would it be bannable? Do you have another meaning behind the name? Not to mention, I have seen a lot of questionable guildnames and users in this game, so for something as silly as hydra I doubt it’ll be banned.
Why would you be banned ? Are you in zeelas hydra guild ?..tbh with a name that common I don’t even think the system would let you . I’m pretty sure I’ve seen guild names hydra already.

This guild is MASSIVE and spans multiple servers.
My best guess is because Hydra is the name of the “swastika boys but with a different name” group in the Marvel universe. But like, I can’t imagine anyone would care unless the guild was full of people who were super-explicitly that sort of person? Hydra isn’t exactly an uncommon name, and all that.

I know I was gonna name my kid Hydra… But my brother’s day care had like four kids with that name
So, I suppose a bit of context is in order they want to name the guild hydra because that’s why we left our old guild. We got a buddy to play wow and he made a low level char we got him an invite and him being mr memes from 10 years ago opens with “heya everybody hail hydra and whatever” instant gkick, the reasoning and I’m quoting here was “thats a [leader of the bad guys from WW2] qoute!” we said that’s dumb and left. I’m just worried a GM or the masses might report us. were not bad people maybe WAY behind in marvel memes but that’s all
