Hey was just wondering this game entered the same status as Diablo 3?
Since release of shadowlands very few was done to adjust issues, balancing, problems, botting, pvp balancing, classes.
Might as well stop subbing, current game status is meh at best. Be faster please to fix/update the game.

First off, we just went through the holiday break. Christmas and new years, so for sure the dev team took a break.
Second, there are hotfixes already slated for next week, and we’ve had hotfixes every week (except over the holidays). They also changed the ShL beta forums to PTR indicating that cycle should start up soon.
Jeez the impatience of the playerbase is astonishing

The dude must not look on wowhead, or mmo champ, or the wow forums blue posts, or the Bnet launcher, or any other information lol
Like the game has been downloading data pretty much every time i log in. There’s hotfixes going constantly. How that = maintenance mode is mind boggling
New maps, new dungeons, new models, new transmogs, new pets, new mounts, new systems, new moves, etc. etc. etc.

nah man the developers are robots that are supposed work around the clock through holidays no matter what to do everything to suit my own selfish needs!
If you expect balancing passes more often than major patches you’re probably going to be disappointed. But to answer your question, no, it isn’t in maint mode just yet. It won’t be until they stop making expacs, and shadowlands just released less than 2 months ago.
Blizzard was in holiday mode.
This is what happens when you drop a big release before major US holidays as a company based in the US.

there has been balance patches almost weekly since launch which is highly unusual, sure there’s still a good number of rough patches but think it’s getting there

Well, like BFA it was in beta till end of 8.3.5 so I don’t doubt SL won’t be out of beta till 9.3.5 or later.

I always find it funny how everyone who threatens to unsub has to make a smug post on the forums about it.
Maintenance mode is going 6 months-1 year without any updates/changes or blue posts.
It was released during the holidays. This is why summer releases are better
We’ve had updates, changes, and blue posts so far… so hence my confusion why someone thinks it’s in maintenance mode.
Oh look another one of these comments. I find replies like yours are the ones topping the smug meters. No one cares that you dont care. 
You do understand WoW just released a new expansion right? Do they typically add new content to a game that’s in maintenance mode?
