Ok so I have a new gaming laptop arriving at some point today (I hope). My question is there anyway I can copy my current WoW files with my addons and all and put on the new rig? I admit to my dread of having to rebuild my customized UI yet again and would love to just down load WowUp and said addons but have the set up already saved and ready to go. If not I know what I will be doing for a few hours time tonight setting up my new gaming rig .
You can but if your display is different it might look funny and you might have to make adjustments anyway. When you copy the game folder over, you can tell the launcher where to look

Do a fresh install of WoW on your laptop, and just copy over the addons and WTF folder.
good idea will try this route, sadly my delivery got delayed due to the trash weather , hoping to get my new gaming rig later “today” .
Done this many time… just copy the ENTIRE wow folder… it will work no need to reinstall.
As Salhezra says just tell launcher new location for Wow folder.

Worked like a champ thanks for the suggestion. wanted to avoid the 30+ minutes it would have taken me to set up my ui and all.
