Is this bannable. Guy needs item in raid, wins it, then sells it to someone else in raid

In Blizzards definition of a GDKP, yes it would be bannable because loot was exchanged for gold.

Report the guy and they may get a nice long vacation

If it was MS-OS which is defined by blizzard he would have to be rolling main spec for those items to use not to trade as his main spec isn’t Gold spec. It also is considered GDKP under SoDs t&ms.

Ha!

Be that as it may, I know of (they aren’t anyone I have grouped with so can’t directly confirm) at least two players that have self-reported getting banned after engaging in similar exchanges. May not be relevant but both stated they were the party receiving the gear and making payment.

If there’s a question that someone in raid is doing something out of bounds just report and let Blizz suss it out.

no, if he wins the roll, he is free to do with the item as he chooses.

This doesn’t matter, the ban on doing that now is completely new and only implemented in Phase 2 of SoD. Its never been a bannable offence until now.

its likely that person already got flagged for the suspension on the trade

Bannable and also bannable for gdkp.

Selling items in raids is against the rules. Report away.

yes, it is bannable.

Pffffffhahahahha

It should be ok. BOEs drop every day and they all get sold.

It says “awarded with loot for gold” this wasn’t awarded by a raid lead, this was sold by someone.
