They’re speeding up Conquest acquisition a bit in the next expansion, and the weapon is awarded through a PvP quest (think it’s earning 2500 Conquest to complete the quest).

Is this actually a thing i can’t find any blue post about other then crafted gear changes and account wide honor.

• Developer’s note: In conjunction with the conquest earned update, we wanted to provide additional context on how players will earn their weapons. In 11.0 Season 1, players can earn a set of Conquest weapons suitable to their specialization without having to spend Conquest. Players can pick up the quest, “Weapons of Conquest” either by entering a Rated PvP match or by going to Dornogal to speak with the Conquest Quartermaster, Lalandi. This quest will task them with earning 2500 Conquest, which is achievable on Week 3 of the season. Players can then complete this quest by speaking with Lalandi. She will give you weapons, shields, and off-hands appropriate for your specialization. After completing this quest, players will be able to use Conquest to purchase weapons from Lalandi as normal.

Amazing. Since they are still forcing Tier down our throats this is a compromise PvP’ers can take.

Yes getting your weapon a week later than you usually would 2 weeks later if your rng was nice, basically the same amount of conquest buys, forced to wait for converter to get tier 100% of the time now outside of if the 1600 quest still exists and no word about if your first set of crafting mats comes from an early quest like the quest for 2 tokens to craft atleast a piece week 1 with what used to be a spark or is now conquest mats you have to buy. I don’t know if I see this as a win or not yet, time will tell.
