Or are we still stuck with the ugly gecko fursona?
i thought they had something that makes it swap from the elf form to the drac from while in combat?
Only out of combat, wich is annoyng.
But most of their abilities make no sense in visage form. Like when they glide in visage, they just float for no reason. So I’m betting the answer may very well be “never.” If you don’t like the look of the race, I would probably avoid playing it. I’ve made two and I can’t get into them so I stopped playing them and moved on.
I think the visage itself is a mistake, because people want to play the pretty elf not the dragon.
There are way more problems to dracthyr than the visage forms, just saying. You could probably fill 10 pages of the mistakes they did with the class, and it still wouldn’t be enough.
Dracthyr are not geckos!
Can’t really blame them, the lizardness is the only thing holding me back from this otherwise lovely class that I’d want to experience.
…I don’t understand this logic.
Priest floating with levitate, mages using slow fall, yep that’s believable.
Evoker gliding while disguised as an elf. Hold it right there that’s fake as hell!
Monks breathing fire, continue.
Evoker disguised as elf breathing fire. Not on my watch!
If we can trust Ions word about this;
“But we’re looking to find ways to work humanoid form into combat. But ultimately, we want to let players do what they prefer aesthetically, rather than forcing gameplay based on mechanics.”
I think we’re seeing perma visage at the end of the expansion or at the start of the new one.
