I have a ton a characters and I’m wondering if there is an addon or anything that will tell you which of your characters currently has mail without having to log in to each one just to check?
Altoholic will keep track of mail (and everything else) on Alts. However, it can’t actually check unless you log them in once in a while though.
To add to what Sorelai said. Altoholic tracks all mail when it reads your mailbox and tracks when you send mail between characters. It provides a popup when you log in on any character when mail is near expiring by a few days.
However, there is not a way to tell if new mail, say from a sale at the auction house, has arrived on a character you arent currently playing because the game and addon dont read that information until you log in on that character.

For some reason it’s not working anymore. I installed it and got it working and it was great but now it’s not showing that I have mail even though I do. Is there something I don’t know that I could try to get it working again without uninstalling/reinstalling it again? It tells me if I have auctions though if that matters/helps.
Anybody know?
Odd, I use altoholic. Its still working for me.
Check your addons and make sure that a lua error didn’t disable part of altoholic which CAN happen.
I’m logging in now to see if I can replicate your problem.
EDIT: Just logged in, brough up Altoholic, checked activity. Mail is still one of the things it tracks, and one of my toons does indeed have mail waiting.
I’d check to make sure that all parts of altoholic are enabled in your addons. And of course that you have “load out of date addons” is enabled as well.
Check Addons - Datastore - Datastore_mails
One of the settings there may have somehow been disabled.
