When I get a lot of stuff it blocks the whole center of my screen. This wasn’t a big deal until remix but now it is driving me nuts.

I use Xloot as it’s a much smaller list off to the side.
I wish there was. A good while ago I used an addon to move those toast windows for loot and achievements off to the side. Still visable, and functional, but less clutter. Sadly, it wasn’t kept up to date, eventually broke, and I wasn’t able to find a replacement at the time. Plenty of addons can move UI elements, but those toasts seem to get overlooked.
They added ui options to move everything to where you want it - you can move the default ‘hide alerts’ position to wherever you want on your ui.
There is an addon that adds support to hide this popup. Im unsure if the option in the default ui allows you to disable it tho.
Leatrix Plus has an option like that, that being “Hide alerts”.

What ‘hide alerts’?
I have clicked every square and nothing says ‘hide alerts’.
Its not a default option. If you download the leatrix plus addon i linked it has an option to hide alerts. Alerts isn the large window that pops up to let you know you looted bullion for example.

frames > Hide Alerts - check this box
reload ui
If you mean the loot rolls window you cannot disable this at all, im not even sure if you can move it. This was a main reason for requesting players to not loot in combat over the years as will cover your entire screen with loot roll windows until you have rolled/closed them.
I re-read my original answer and yes its very confusing - i meant they added the ability to move just about anything except the loot rolls/alerts windows.

I agree its a bit much and they should have it default to be able to move and resize the loot alerts and not require an addon to do it. They didnt want us to be able to move the chat window either in the beginning and it eventually became an option.

Sadly I am not at my cpu to check my addons but there are a few that let you move or hide those alerts I have an addon that expands the edit mode as well as a version of moveanything. Now the moveanything mod is not the original one as that is no longer updated and is busted but same concept.
You might be able to go into the customization UI and move and or shrink the panel that pops up when you loot, if that’s what you were talking about.
I’m with the OP, having all of these stupid toast loot window thingies spamming up the middle of your screen is super annoying. I find it especially annoying when I’m doing old content for mog/mounts, the volume of loot in legacy runs can be a bit much on its own, more so when the middle of the screen is covered for as long as it is. We shouldn’t need to click them all away manually.
