I’d really like to have an addon that adds the expansion to the tooltip when mousing over crafting mats. I found the addon SmexyMats that supposedly does this, but after installing it, all it does is throw up a fudge ton of errors and exactly nothing else.
Anyone know of any other addons out that, working addons, that add this info to tooltips? Thanks in advance!
You sure you installed the correct version? Addon says it’s up to date and the comments aren’t flooded with error reports.
I use this addon and I’ve never had a problem with it.
I think I might have found the problem. It requires Ace3 and Ace3 is installed when the addon is installed but not when a player installs the addon themselves, like I do. I’ll track down the latest Ace3 and install that too and see if it does the trick.
Did you post your issues on the project page? where I would actually see what you are talking about?
As mentioned in other comments. ACE3 is a dependency and is required for this addon as well as other addons. I dont know why other addon authors decide to embed ACE3 in some of their addons, but it is a bad practice to do so when ACE3 can just be referenced instead of copied to every other addon.
btw, I am the author of smexymats. If you have issues with the addon, please feel free to provide the errors your are getting with actual data and errors messages.
