My evoker has 16 heroic sark kills, so 16 weeks, and I still haven’t seen the leggo drop. This tier is almost over. This random drop is just ridiculous and at this point it’s a real feel bad situation. It should have just been “collect the shards of this weapon and then craft the weapon!” where you get some shards each sark kill or something.
Honestly with the Ilvl jump that we’re about to have, it probably won’t be used after the first couple weeks of the tier given there isn’t an upgrade item for it currently. So I wouldn’t fret too much about it at this point, other than if you want it as a cosmetic item.
Heroic kills are incredibly low % (probably around 0.6%), even with the bad luck protection. Only mythic kills get you any real chance (probably around 4.0%) at the leggo unless you have miraculous good luck.
With 16 kills, you might have around a 57% chance if the drop was initially 0.6% and they added another 0.6% for every kill (around 9.6% by kill #16). That’s still a whopping 43% chance you did NOT get the cracked gem to start the leggo quest.
Meanwhile, a mythic raider would have around a 96% chance after 11 kills and a near certainty at 16 kills.
People thought they could get the leggo from Normal and LFR, but I take Blizzard’s description of getting it in those difficulties as “an aspirational goal”, meaning 1 in a million or equally miraculous good luck.
Evokers used to be able to farm multiple difficulties but then Blizzard changed it to where if you killed heroic sark, the leggo doesn’t drop for you on lower difficulties…
I’m on 16 logged kills, a couple not logged… at most 18-19kills.
Still nothing for me as well.
I only really do heroic raids, so I hope I can easily replace this leggo so I don’t have to farm old content for a BIS item.
the 457 leggo isnt going to be BiS when the new raid is dropping 470s.
Just googled it, the general consensus is the weapon is almost equal in power to 470 but will be replaced with heroic raid weapons.

and you’ll be much above heroic geared 1-2 months into the new patch when we start pushing 15s and 16s again, you’ll get the 478 weapons.
The int difference between the 457 leggo and the new heroic/mythic weapons will be way too massive to ignore.
Sadly I don’t enjoy M+ so I only raid.
I doubt it would be worth the money to craft the weapon now. (Unless you really want the Tmog)
I still want the damn thing to drop, so I can throw it in my bank to collect dust.
ahhh, it might take you a bit longer to replace the weapon then.
in reality if you’ve been at it all season long they should have some sort of catch-up for the leggo (let the damn drac’s have their leggo blizz).
