if so that is terrible, ban it asap blizzard. no retail features in classic please.
It just helps with communication. Doesn’t put you in a group or anything.
It creates a feature that wasn’t in Vanilla. It should be banned.
If you’re really looking for a group, go to the meeting stone.
It actually was in vanilla.
How could I forget about the submenu that was “Looking for group” in Vanilla?
You clearly didn’t understand the 2nd part of my post.
actually, there was LFD in vanilla, you talk to an innkeeper to access it.
What a genuine and honest question…
You definitely needed to make a thread to answer this question…
Read the 2nd part of the post, thanks!
And you clearly don’t understand what was and wasn’t in vanilla.
You could click a meeting stone to be put in a group queue. Keep trying though.
I don’t see how the second part of your post proves the feature wasn’t in vanilla, since that’s the part of your post I was replying it.
Learn how the APIs worked in vanilla.
You first m8.
Pffffffffffft. Seriously? This is getting hilarious. People crap on vanilla addons, and don’t even realize THEY WERE IN VANILLA.
You could get in a LFG queue if you clicked on the summoning stone. You tried to correct me when there wasn’t anything to correct. Get over it man.
Vanilla API
Learn it
Live it
Know it
Yep, just like there was in Vanilla when we had Call to Arms. Pretty much the same addon so be happy that we can play the real Vanilla!
Just keep covering your ears and pretending I wasn’t right in the first place.
You weren’t, but that’s cool.
" Even in early vanilla, Blizzard was trying to find ways to make it easier for players to run dungeons together. In those days, most dungeons formed either in guild chat or trade chat. Players made their own groups and then took zeppelins, flight points, etc. to the dungeon entrance.
In March 2005, [patch 1.3] gave us Blizzard’s first attempt at a grouping system: the lowly meeting stones. In their first incarnation, meeting stones could be clicked to place you in a queue for their dungeon. The queue tried to match you up with players of a similar level and to find a tank and a healer."
