I accidentally forgot to turn in my quest last week and there doesnt appear to be a new one at the poster, is there no catch up?
The next one doesn’t come out until June or sometime. It’s also super time gated as is everything with this patch.

I just did the quest today, and give me one chip instead of 3 chips.

If you completed the three chip quest you should have another one for a single chip right now. We have to complete it weekly and I don’t believe there is a catch up for it. It’s not that it “doesn’t come out until June” it’s that you need to complete it weekly for three weeks to get the same benefit you got the first week.
Which is how it has been explained since before it launched. First week is three chips. Second and following weeks are one chip each.

I meant you get one this week and the next 3 weeks until June 3rd when we get the 3rd one to get another piece of gear.
If you turn in a weekly the next week… you have to wait a week to get the next weekly, because the system registers that you turned in a weekly.
But the OP is now a week behind.
For this kind of stuff it would be nice if there was, also would like to see this for delve gilded crests. With perhaps at certain account wide delve rank that increases in drop % (up to the current max).
Oh, apparently I can’t read. That’s dumb if there’s no catch up, rip to my alts I guess.

Yeah… thankfully I did it on the four main ones I play. The rest can languish.
yes this is how its supposed to work, the quest for just 1 is not available to me since i turned in the one for 3 this week accidentally. I hope im not permanently 1 weekbehind and next week theres a catch up that pops up

sometimes you need to actually be a week behind to see catchup, like with sparks. so i guess i can only hope next tuesday i can catch up

All the complaints about the drip feed of progress just helps reinforce how screwed up the priorities for this game are.
It’s obviously all about managing how much the dedicated playerbase is willing to stomach before it turns into open revolt, with a half-expected pull-back whenever the complaining gets too loud.
Then they’ll undo the problem and everyone forgets about the issue… until the next time it happens.

Even the dinars in DF were timegated, that’s nothing new. And this isn’t a throwaway fated season, so it’s unlikely they would speed them up.
That being said, they do need to have a catch up mechanic like the DF version did if one isn’t in place currently.

Dinars in s4 kept dropping off raid boss kills even in LFR until you hit the current week or current week -1 (can’t remember which). But yeah, it was gated if you were up to date. It was a better system than not having catch up.

its very possible this does exist, I havent run raid and wont till tonight, and again they may not drop till next week like sparks dont

Report back your findings! I slacked off on alts so I’m curious if there is a catch up for them.
I forgot to do the quest even once on any character, so hopefully there is catchup. If not, oh well (for me anyway) I’m sure others would be very inconvenienced without a catchup system.
Missing week 1 with no catchup is rough. That’s not being 1 week behind, that’s 3 weeks behind because now you will have to acquire them at the rate of 1 per week rather than the 3 from the first quest.

I would agree with this.
It should have been (at a minimum), the first time anyone turns in the quest regardless it should give 3 and the remaining weeks give 1 but it sounds as though they didn’t program it that way.
It is easy enough to track in database so an easy catch up method could have been introduced for those who had an emergency or medial issue etc.
… typical lazy programming on MicroActaBlizz’s part tbh.
