Nobody I know seems to care.
Like, TWW will happen, it won’t be DF, so that’s a good thing. But what else is there to be hyped about?
Every bit of news we’ve received in the last month intentionally last minute by blizz has been less than good:
Tank nerfs,
Stops nerfed
Memeable login screen
2 days downtime for most NA players on patch drop
Buggy Warbands screen
Character list no longer sortable? 1 looooong list of character names and nothing else? (have to hover over each character to show it’s server).
EDIT: 7. Warbank blunderstorm
EDIT: 8. Bad/ratio’d trailer.
EDIT: 9. Prepatch event
So at what point do the obedient payers stop with the “stop complaining!” and when do we start asking the modern blizz team to just do better?
you can arrange the character screen by realm if you want, I did with mine ABC order A52 is first then the others are under it in ABC order then in that order i have them Faction order and in that order I have class order
I think people are just looking for new content, rather than being hyped. I haven’t seen a new hype train wallpaper for this expac. Has anyone? I don’t know, that always seemed like a bit of a hallmark for the excitement.
I’m still hyped, but I also am still not sure what I’m going to main. I don’t like what they did with rdruid, so if I want to heal I could go hpriest, but priest is so slow lol. If my raid group has enough healers I could go back to hunter and play bm and mm, but I’m still undecided.
The bugs and such are weirdly part of the charm for me. Everyone gets stuck at the same points and things don’t work, idk just kinda fun and reminds me of expac launches when I was a kid.
I wasn’t all that hyped about DF either. Skyriding was the only thing I looked forward to, and I’m content it’s being kept moving forward.
DF’s story was bad from the beginning, and playing through it certainly didn’t change my mind on it.
What I’m most disappointed in now are the hero talents. At least for DH, they’re so blah and one is laughably underwhelming compared to the other. Too bad this class doesn’t have a third option like every other class in the game. Add to that zero visual flare for any of the abilities.
I’m hyped because it’s a new WoW release which means tons of fun leveling my main and alts. I’m looking forward to see what DElves are all about and I hope there will be follower dungeons.
Plenty of hype. There’s just plenty of water being tossed on the fire at the same time. It’s sad but it seems the way of the modern Blizzard. But what are they supposed to do? They have spent 20 years running off dedicated players in order to drive fresh sales from players they can’t please. Now they can’t win no matter what.
I am extremely excited, actually. I have had several breaks over the years since the start of Legion that were years length in time. In fact, I came back last fall and did not like what I saw within DF, so I left again until this past May. TWW looks like a lot of fun to me, although I really would rather not be underground. That’s a step below being underwater for me, but I’ll manage. I adore cosmetic changes, quality of life improvements, collecting and professions and I must say, everyone and everything in TWW is looking mighty pretty. I saw that plate questing gear and I said okay, I’m in. Lol.
I am genuinely so excited, in fact, that I just rolled out of bed a little while ago and got some tea and sat down at my PC, ready to check the update(s) on maintenance. Turns out, it is in fact Monday, not Tuesday. I was so blinded by finally getting to use my Warbank and organize and level up a new main, that I completely forgot the date.
Ok, but like, excited for what? lmaooo
What is 1 feature that looks remotely innovative or interesting?
Delves? This xpac’s version of torghast/scenarios? wooooow hahah
