For crying out loud if there 1,000 horde players and 70 Alliance in que, for gods sake merge them and cut the que down by 95%, we just want to pvp…We also want decent games. An Ally team with half horde and fresh 60 mercs isn’t the answer, a 14 minute Horde que to get curbstomped and 200 honor by a Sargeras premaid isn’t the answer.
Just let people enjoy BG’s, let us use all the gizmo’s you have created and have fun. the horde vs. alliance model is a complete fail right now. throw us all into a mix, fast ques, and closer games. No one loses.
Merc mode exists.
And it is optional. Making it so that is automatically randomly assigned to one side or the other is not a good thing.
It would make it much more difficult to queue with friends and run BGs together as a team.
I would not like to be forced to go against the people I am queuing with, as cooperative gameplay is something many folks are lacking, so running with friends, promoting cooperative gameplay, is not something that should be taken away, or else it would negatively affect the experience of BGs.
Factions are a big part of what makes this game fun. Whether you’re on team horde or team alliance, that slight “hatred” for the opposite faction really adds to the experience.
I don’t know if they have done this already, but I think they should just have all servers Q together, and open up more BGs.
I only speak for pvp, I haven’t done a rai since Naxx in WOTLK. Having that extra level of determination is part of what makes Wow the best mmo of all time.
The players are passionate about the faction they represent. If you’re losing BGs a bunch, it is probably because the Horde just want to win more.
To say it isn’t fact, you are saying that not a single player in the entire Wow community cares about the faction they represent. You are using your own opinion to create your own facts.
Everything you mentioned has nothing to do Blizzard moving away from factions, but money.
Oribos is the laziest designed city of any expansion I have ever seen. Just 2 circles stacked on top of eachother. Why? Saves time and money and they can deliver another expansion 2 years after the previous.
agreed, it really felt like you were completely against an entire nation that was threatening your own, now it doesnt. the feel is gone.
with that said, if theyve allowed the faction conflict to decay to its current state then why not open quality of life changes, like faction on faction pvp, since the main argument is already weakened.
In a way it already has. Rated pvp is neutral, I think the only solution for you would be an option to Q for random BGs as both ally and horde, instead of choosing to go merc or not.
There is no meaning of alliance vs horde already anymore, alliance is full of low geared fresh horde mercenaries. They better just mix the pool completely, current system only harms Alliance winrates.
